You are quite correct. Both terminals were badly corroded and were certainly in need of a thorough wire brushing and cleaning which I completed. I am very hopeful that this overdue maintenance will correct the problem.
Makes you wonder why you pay the dealer big $$ to do the various maintenance checks that they are trained for and should know to look for.
