The worst thing happened to an almost complete build. Part of decal ripped off with some masking tape I was using to paint in the flat aluminum base for a marker light ... .

I had covered the decals on with clear, polish and wax. I guess I found a weak spot .

I am going to try to fix this, but It won't be the same as it was before.







I am going to use a spare decal sheet from another Martini livery car kit to graft from. I will have to cut each colored stripe out individually b/c the width of the spare decal stripes are not the same as the 936 kit.

After I have the decals laid down, can I clear over a waxed surface? As I mentioned on a previous post, I used a synthetic wax. Please help if you can.
