I have not have very good luck with the cube compressor, mainly because it does not aid in applying force to compress the caliper while turning the piston.

As rhandwor suggested though, many of the chain auto parts stores have a loaner tool program, and usually have a nice kit for compressing the rear calipers. This 11-piece kit works wonderfully, and as long as you return it within the generous time period, won't cost you a thing to use.
