to go to a 4 barrel youd have to change the intake, what do you mean by leaking carb?you can probaly rebuid it just need basic tools and some drill bits to set clearances,but to set idle and choke youll need a tach or engine anliser. there 40 bucks at sears, sorry i dont spell very good
