Re: Exedy Stage 2 vs. ACT 2100

Well, I used to be a big ACT advocate, I have heard many times they are the best clutch option for DSM's. However, I have also heard a lot especially more recently, about faulty ACT disks. The spring dealy likes to break. I dont know, I personally dont want that to happen. I have a buddy with a Exedy he really likes so if I can find one of those with enough clamping force for cheap enough I may go that route. I may end up going with an SBR clutch since they are so damn cheap, but built to take it. The only problem I have with those is they are street disk, I want a sprung 6 puck. I dont know man, there was four names of clutches local dsmer's trust, I will dig them up for you sometime.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.
