Actually.. you're incorrect I call them side markers too, but its not right...


"side markers" do not flash ever. they car a constant light. the "bumper lenses" on our cars are side markers. the ones on our fenders which blink with the turn signal are "side repeaters". It's even in Infiniti part sheets like this...


the reason people over hear call them side markers is because of the after market "side markers" which people put on say Civic's that dont blink. these are side markers..

People have just gotten used to the fact that anything in that area of the fender is called a "side marker" whether it blinks or not. but this is incorrect...


marker = a marking light
repeater = a blinking light
