Thanks for your comments. A minor update to post. I painted the rims and rim caps (I do not know the proper term for them, I though of refering to them as hubcaps, but I feel that would have been an inappropiate description for race car tires ;-) .

I also put on some "DUNLOP" decals on the tires. I used the Crazy Modeller sheet of 1/24 Tire decals. I love these things because I was not about to paint the raised letters on the kit's tires. How tedious and time consuming could that be!!! I put the kit tires on a socket/powerdrill set-up and ground down the letter ridges on the outer wall. Then "slapped" the decals on. Really easy application for a very enhancing effect. What do you think?
