I'm really considering a '96 Impala SS, but first I have some questions.

(This probably should have went into the Impala forum, but I figured there would be more engine-related knowledge floating around here, opposed to all the idiotic "rollin on 24's" crap.)

1. What is the difference between the LS1 and the LT1?

2. Can LS1 parts fit on the LT1?

3. While browsing through a Summit catalog, I saw alot of parts that said they were compatible with the Camaro/Firebird LT1. Would these parts (aside from the obvious like exhaust and intakes) fit on the Impala's LT1?
