actually nevermind.....a friend just emailed me a site that explained it. It is actually the water pump about to go out. the jeep waterpumps have a warning system, it has a small hole that allows a leak once the seal is no longer intact. it just so happens to leak right on the lower radiator hose so it looks like thats where it comes from......heres a link with more info.
