If he tells me that it's a TC issue thats fine, but if he says it's an internal tranny problem his warranty will cover it since that's what it actually covers.
There is no way in hell I’m going to pour more money into this tranny..lol. I think they did a good job on the rebuild but I’m not sure if they did any TC work. I’m pretty sure the shop owner will cover most of the repair costs. He was a reputation of refunding your money if you’re not satisfied. At the least I’m sure he will work with me

From the reading I’ve been doing, it seems that a lot of GM owners have gotten the 1870 code after a rebuild. Most have needed TC repairs. Some were told to get a tranny rebuild and still had the code come back. I personally don’t think it’s an internal tranny problem. The only problem I’m having is the highway issue. I’ll have to take the truck in soon AND wait for 2eyefishclaw to respond.
