At my work I could sell you a whole new freakin sending Unit and shebang for 300 ish bucks, give or take... Drop the fuel tank and swap n go... Not doin it your self will always get you a raping charge at a shop. Look at brake install prices. Dealership quote for whole new front end brakes and rotors was $350.
BAER Cross drilled and slotted Zinc plated rotors, Hawk HPS pads --- $212 installed myself. The dealership or shop usually give you low end pads like wearever sliver or gold... crap crap crap.
