The time seems about right, On your Bravada you have to remove the cross member to get the starter out. R&R instructions here: http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBr...3d8012a5e6.jsp None of the charges seem unusualy high for a shop but you could have saved a lot by doing it yourself.

As far as finding a shop, go to cartalk.com. they have a list of mechanics that have been recomended by listeners to the show in most areas of the country.
