I'll stand by the fact that there is no restrictor plate and no govenor. Restrictor plates are for race cars and the engine computer (ECU) electronically limits the speed.

Since you are smarter feel free to pull up a copy of the service manual in question and show me the restrictor plate and govenor. I presume you are basing your assumptions on reading the service manual or actually working on an RB26DETT?
