All of the motors that have come in these cars have their ups and downs...Name one and I can trash talk it and praise it at the same time.

The 2.2 OHV is the easyist as for hooking everything up since the exhaust manifold is right in front of you.. As far as gains with a turbo, on stock bottom end don't go anymore than 7psi and you should yeild around 160-170hp afterwards. If you do a fully built engine you can look more towards 200-220 with a proper tune. But thats thousands of dollars later... We blew the shops turbo 2200 up this fall, so we'll see what happens when she's fully rebuilt. Oil pump failed, runnin extremly lean for a little while created soo much heat it melted the fan since our manifold is a long tube design put the turbo close to it.. then melted a couple wires on top of that...
