So do you already have an XM kit installed with the factory radio, or you're looking to add XM and iPod at the same time?
I'm not sure on the 2001, but I would highly doubt that you'll find either RCA or 3.5mm inputs on the back of a factory deck. The few late model OEM decks that allow auxilliary inputs have the aux inputs somewhere easily accessible.
The simple solution would be to get one of the FM modulators for your iPod addition.
