I had the same problem with my 98, but it happened when the car was new. As you said, it occured most after a high way driving (for the first few times, I thought I hit bad potholes). I took the car to a dealer but they claimed they could not reproduce the problem. I decided to ignore it and for some reason the problem disappeared after a couple of years.
