His motor wouldnt even fire at all if it was 180 out. It would be trying to fire on the exhaust stroke instead of the compression stroke.

And if he got a mpfi dizzy, I dont think it would even try to run a dpfi system since dizzy wiring and different.

I'll bet the reason your dizzy was frying rotors is because your shaft bearing went bad and started to heat the shaft up so much that it started to melt anything in contact with it.

I really think its your firing order. Heres alittle something to help you:
