Well the paint's ruined again, and into the brake fluid it goes... this is the second time I've had this problem with Dupli-color metallic paint--I spray 3 mist coats, about 20 minutes apart, then wait about 2 hrs (to outgas and harden) just like a lot of other guys have done, then spray one solid top coat. Then the top coat, after drying, turns milky and hazy!
I don't get it. This method always works for me with solid/singular colours, be they Dupli-color or Tamiya. Am I just not giving it enough time to outgas before the top coat? Should I wait 24 hrs after mist? Seems weird...
