The biggest difference is that Saleen is considered a manufacture and has his own VIN not a Ford VIN. No Ford emblems on his Mustang. All others are Tuner Mustangs which they just add parts to make it into a special car. The nice thing about Tuner cars are they are insured as a GT but to get enough coverage you need to insure by value because you pay more than they are worth. On average about 35% loss taking it off the lot because insurance companies only see the Saleen Mustang as a special finance model.
