The garage guy just left. One of the pulleys was broken so the door went past its stopping point... or something. It was a $25 part plus $84 labor for a half hours work
But he said all the problems Ive had over the past weeks were related to the pulley so hopefully I shouldn't have any problems in the near future.
Oh, and I HATE parking on the street cuz my car is the constant victim of scratches, dings, bumper bumps, and bird target practice.
