Re: Experience with TransX or Trans Tune

I have not used either of those products.....so I do not know about them.
I have used a product called " AutoRX " http://www.auto-rx.com/index.html
This is a product that will GENTLY clean.....and remove deposits that may be in and about the solenoids, etc inside the transmission.
You put it in.....run it for 1000 to 1500 miles, then change the fluid and filter (using the CORRECT fluid for your year).

I also use a magnefine filter in the cooler return line to remove more dirt from the fluid than the factory filter.
If I am going to tow, or otherwise stress the unit.....I can remove the inline filter to make sure that there is not any restriction to the fluid flow. The filter does have a bypass valve that opens if the filter becomes clogged.
I also have an auxillary cooler that is installed inline with the factory cooler that is inside the radiator.
