I have 1997 which normally starts without touching accelerator, just flick the key. Now I must tap acclerator to get started. I think the AIC is not responding fast enough for cold idle.
I had this problem before and replaced AIC after cleaning several times. It required a star-type screwdriver. After replacement turn on ignition without starting for 10 seconds and turn off. This calibrates the position.
Any cold idle problems I start with AIC including Porsche and Range Rover.
