added OEM XM Tuner to xm ready radio
Alright need some guidance here,
I picked up a used gm xm tuner from ebay for my wife's XM ready Equinox, plugged it in to the factory harness in the back and all started up while in the ACC position. As I was told would happen, after I started the car it went from playing xm just fine to displaying "theftlocked". I was told that might happen, took it to the dealership to have it reprogramed. They are saying they have never seen that happen, according to the tech the radio will usually lock up and be able to reprogram it, but on my case it is only the xm that is displaying "theftlocked" while everything else works ie fm,am.
Help please....
