Shep is a cool guy. I wouldn't say I know him, but there was a time when he would remember me for my bizarre breakages. He busted my balls pretty good when I snapped the input clean off one of his trannies in like 2k miles

There are a ton of videos of his car on his site. I believe the new URL is sheptrans.com, or are the videos still at shepracing.com? At any rate, check them out. The in car vids are awesome, as well as the ones taken from behind the car on the launch.
I saw him run the 7.95 at the SO, truly awesome experience to see that in person. I've seen the fast cars at NOPI and such, but this is different for some reason. It just doesn't look the same. Something to do with the AWD launch or something perhaps. The RWDs pull similar or better 60 foots, but look completely different coming out of the hole.
