check the fuses, just to make sure you didn't blow one.
otherwise, broken window regulators are common problems on cars that are 10+ years old. i've had to replace both of mine since i got my car 4 years ago.
our window regulators contain some plastic peices which are prone to breaking. this is the weak point. here
