I have been to see the engineer that is working on my car. It seems what he told me on the phone was incorrect.
The problem is when he put the new starter motor on, the cogs are not meshing. He has tried 2 new starter motors and also tried a rebuild on the one that was already on the car.
Any help here would be appreciated.
The engineer is a specialist in starter motors but has never worked with a Renault Laguna Auto before.
