Yep. Dealerships and GM do not know how to fix this problem. They usually try the BCM because it's easy to do but usually it's the decoder in the ignition cylinder. I'd just bypass it if I were you, that way it'll never go bad again. Do a search on here to learn how you can do it. No, GM will not bypass it for you either. Also, you'll need to get it fixed soon because it'll get to the point where it won't let you start it at all.
