It's their first car, and they don't care if it's got bad gas milegae, won't pass smog, and is uncomfortable to drive (urethane mounts, B/S removed, etc). They didn't even want to listen to what the upgrades meant, and how the fuel system was a severely limiting factor as far as boost went, and how without AWD and/or LSD launching was an issue...no sir. No problem with any of that at all. They see a bunch of guages and buttons and they're sold on it. Good lord...  .

LOL, it funny how that works isnt it? I remember when I sold my plain and simply 97 RS, I was trying to explain to the high school kid why and which weight oil to use so that it doesnt burn oil....but he was barely listening....too busy looking at the exhaust, rims, and he couldnt get over the fact that it was lowered like 3 inches.
