The PCM will give you more power than the pulleys. Return the old one and get your $100 back. You can always have the new one reprogrammed back to stock if necessary. The PCM will change many parameters in the engine itself such as fuel mixture timing and etc. Well worth the cost and not hard to install.

The pulley will require a smaller belt since the tensioner cannot take up enough slack with the new pulley to keep it tight.
