coolant in oil question
Hi all,
I have a 97 silverado with a 350. 160,000 miles. Truck ran great until recently. I was out on a 10 minute drive and it started to heat up and miss. When I got home, I checked the radiator and it was dry. Unfortunately it was all in my oil pan. I believe my intake manifold gasket gave way.
Anyway, If I fixed the gasket problem, would the engine be o.k. or is it junk now that it has been filled with antifreeze/water? I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.
