The problem with these figures is that they are dependend on who tested it, the condition of the car and wheather conditions. I heard reports from NZ that 4.4 can be achieved with the car straight out of the box. I also heard figures above 5 seconds.
Same was with the EVO VI. A friend of mine bought one that had been standing in a garage for over a year. Best he could get was 5.3 sec. Now after his holiday where he drove the car for several 1,000 km he re-tested: 4.7 sec.
I only know one thing these cars are bloody quick. The only thing is they don't feel that quick. Before you know it you're hitting 100 km/h and it's still pretty much silent. Esp. if you compare it to the noise levels of a WRX.
