What do you mean the 160 engine? The car came with two different engines in the U.S. Assuming you are located in the states.
It had the following:
(ST) 7A-FE This was a 1.8 liter with 115hp
(GT) 5S-FE This was a 2.2 liter with 130-135 hp depending on the year
If you want more power a turbo kit is available for the 5S-FE either through Burien Toyota in WA, or Toyomoto in Flordia.
If you go with an ST I would recommend swapping the engine with a 20v 4A-GE or, a supercharged 4A-GZE.
