Re: 2 part clears

I also own the HP-CS and I'm still using Lecher 2 part, now I'm using a cheap on called Megalack but more experienced modellers said me to try better products.

- I set up the compresor for approx 10-12 PSI: it depend also by the thinning ratio: I can't use the ratio adviced from Lecher, too thick for the Eclipse: I'm thinning much more but I had also experienced some thinner evaporation's trouble. What I'll advice is start from manufacturer info and thin until you like, and try, perform thin layer.

- I mix only colours needed for 1 hand but Lecher say that you'll leave the clear in the giare for 1 hour. I don't like do that: after cured 2 part isn't easy to remove, also with solvent.

- I know some people just hate that but I like to remove gaskets and put my iwata on a nitro hot solvent (toluene) for... well for the time needed to remember i've an airbrush sweeming in the nitro
