Also I used 350 mounts when I installed the 396 into my 69 chevelle , no issue's. The 307 mounts are taller then the 350's and if you have air cleaner to hood clearence issue you may want to be careful. I've heard tale of guys doing this swap, slamming the hood and winding up with a big upside dent in there hood....  |
thanks for the info, i have a story about something like that, the guys helping me put my 350 in the last cars , forgot to the washer on the bolts for hinge on the hood, and well he crank it and put a big dimple in you know where
