Make an elarged copy of the wiring diagram and highlight all the affected wiring. Unplug components from the circuit and install a fuse. This will help narrow down the location of the short. Plug things back in one at a time till you find the part of the circuit that causes the fuse to blow. Mark off parts of the circuit you have tested. Be patient and methodical when trying to isolate the short.
