Thanks guys. Your suggestions inspired me in bending one of the alluminium strip that is used for closing one of the slots at the back of a computer, to stick it in between the valve and the hose while pulling the hose up.

I have another problem. The PCV valve is very, very tight and wont budge - I do not want to force too much, in case I break it and cause more problems. Any suggestions how I can losen it to turn open. I am following the rule of righty tighty lefty loosen, for taking the valve out.
