I need everyones Opinion

Im kinda split on resurecting my Z28 or killing it
The z runs decently but the body and some of the interior is just in terrible shape both rear q-panels are rusted pretty bad around the lip, if you stick your hand under the hatch to lift it up you get a handful of rust. the hood is rusted so bad in places i can break peices of the hood off. some peices of the body underneath are rusted through.. as far as rust goes the floor pans in good shape but it looks like somebody ran over something hard and sharp at one time...the drivers side rear pan has huge dents in it and the passenger has a 2 foot cut from front to back i can see the bottom of the carpet stuff.....and the part that scares me ...theres a 2 inch stress crack right above the door.. the car was hit at sometime on the drivers side fender and the panel was replace but everything on the bottom is so beat-up that it doesnt look like the bottom of that fender can be bolted on...and it isnt....and just to add insult it looks like when they tried to get the ac condensor off they tied a chain around it and ripped it off.... now none of these problems are impossible..i dont think...i would have to farm out all the body work! now the 1984 camaro i have has a perfect body! no rust or dents..the z28 has all the parts i need to do a v8 swap on the 1984 and make a pretty nice car....but that would pretty much kill the z28 forever. the z28 was the top of the line camaro it feels like a sin to premanently kill it ..And to be honest i like driving an authentic Z28...AND I WONT MAKE A CLONE!
if i keep the z28 i will sell the 1984 for a s10 or something good on gas and do a frame off on the z28
Now whats everybodys opinion..Keep the Z? Or kill the z?
