I am sure it is possible as the system is basically a computer the Navi system will not be much use as it will be for Japan I have been trying to sorce NZ maps etc for sat nav systems but havent had any luck yet as for the DVD it may be set for Japan and NZ is region 4 this can be changed (hopefully as I changed my DVD region at home) with some Keystrokes on the remote
If you post what the system of the dvd is Ie what model etc I will try to sorce the data to rezone or unlock the zone so you can view all dvds from the world
