After being out of modelling FOREVER I am finally back in a job that will allow me time to model so I broke myself back in with the 1/24 Tamiya Calsonic Skyline to go with the R33 I already have.
I am not going into super detail with this one as the R33 is built quite basic so here we go.
Suspension components ready to mount to chassis. I used Rover Taihiti Blue again on this to match the R33. Thank goodness Halfords still stock it. THeir cans of paint just get better, the pressure is awesome! The rear suspension is a lovely part with a lot of complexity and a great mix of colours!
The body polished with Polishing papers and black lined. I tried the other kit wheels for something different but I will build the kit with the correct rims once I get the Dremel back to paint the thin blue lines round the outer edge.
On to the interior today. I sprayed the dash and other X18 parts in Rover Charcoal which gives a good representation of Carbon Fibre without all the decal hassles.
