OK that makes sense. I appreciate the posts. One more question. So if the timing chain/belt jumps and timing goes out to lunch should I expect to get a fail code for a crank sensor or other sensor failure or is there a code specifically to indicate timing is out of spec that would at least lead you to think there is a timing chain/belt issue.
