Two 240's in my city were vandalized. I'm good friends with the owner of the red 240, and good acquaintances with the owner of the blue 240. I see them at the kart track with the local motor club a lot. Aside from the obvious visual damage to the cars and the houses, they stole an Apex'i RSM and poured coolant all over the first car.
It makes me mad, because the owner of the blue 240 has his turbo'd (KA24) and the owner of the red 240 has helped me out with a lot of stuff, and I've seen him put a lot of time into his car.. and then it gets vadalized. He was out last night and got home fairly late.. the vandalism occured between 4am and 9am this morning.
There is a slight lead, the taggers left their crew's name, but people think it might just be a set up, because it would be too obvious. There's no need to point fingers yet, but we think that this might have been caused by a little conflict that went further than it should have.
I thought I'd just share, so that people can understand that vandalism is dumb, and I know people know this, but it keeps happening. So for those who treasure their cars, don't let this happen to you. Good thing I garaged my cars for the season last night.
