I thought I made it very clear in my 2nd post what I wanted. If you don't have anything to contribute please move along. Thanks. I have the air filter supplied in the kit ('37 Ford by Revell). I would like to know how to make it look like a K&N air filter. I didn't think it mattered what I had tried but if you just have to know tried a red wash over the white plastic(made it look too pink), then I tried a wash of Boyds pearl purple over the previous red. Looked better but still not what I want.
