Well, I weighed all the suggestions and all seemed possible but with no real time and no money to speak of to invest in multiple maybe's, I opted to change the front brake pads and rotors that needed to be done anyway.
Chang-O-Brake-O problem gone. I haven't got a clue why or how that would make a difference, But it's gone.
