The painting place sucks. In today's automotive repair world, it is NOT difficult to match even the oldest, most faded pearls / metalics.


Automotive painting is 90% prep work. They simply did a poor job.

Thanks for your advice. I took the car back and they are repainting and blending the doors area that was a concern to me. I believe they are goiing to try and stick the insurance company for even more money. Quite a business they are in. The original problem was a fender that was a little crunched and a scrapped hubcap. I saw the fender on the internet for as little as 40 dollars. All told including the rental car the insurance may pay up to 2300 dollars. Not supposed to be held against my rates since it was under uninsured and not my fault. But I don't trust insurance companies to tell the truth.
