but its commonly referred to as lsvtec or frankenstein. lsvtec is when you take the bottom end of an ls integ motor and mate it with another b-series vtec head. there are advantages and disadvantages to doing this. there is more to it than just replacing the ecu. i dont know what electronics you're talking about(the only electronic part i can think of is the ecu), but it is not a small job.
That is what they call a mini-me swap. I heard of a lot of people doing that. All the D-Series parts are swapable.
