AC ??? 2001 136,000 mi
A/C Compressor started a "knocking" noise. Compressor came from salvage last July. Noise increase in line with rpm's. Was still blowing cold air. Stopped and got another compressor at salvage (different yard). Have not installed yet. Almost immediately the noise stopped - but the cold air stopped also. It's not hot but it's not cold either.
What would you expec?
