Get on the ground under the back of the van near the fuel tank and have someone (that you trust) turn the key to "on" but not "start". The pump should run for a few seconds to pressurize the fuel line. If it doesn't that's a problem.

Thank you very much. Now for your recomendation. I took out pump and hooked up to 12 volts and did not work. I did some banging and shaking and now it works. Should I replace old pump back or buy new pump?
