We know the shorttail is #18R, in fact I think you took a photo of the chassis plaque last year Patrick, or at least someone did. I'm hoping there will be a representative from BMW around who can tell you what chassis number their other GTR, the longtail, wears. That piece of info is still a bit of mystery.
