I agree with Captain Emo somewhat. I've seen numerous cases of straight A students that are wound so tight and so far out of touch with reality that all their knowledge is seemingly wasted by a lack of ability to apply it to the real world. Whereas there are some A B students who may not have as much of an edge on hard facts and "book learning" but are well rounded and much better suited to deal with certain real world applications. It doesn't matter if some A+ student can list all the parts of your engine and their purpose, cuz if they pop the hood and don't know how to take it apart, their knowledge is 100% useless
