Double clutching goes like this. You are driving, and it is time to shift. You press the clutch in, take it out of gear, let the clutch out, press the clutch back in, then shift it back into gear, let the clutch out, then off you go. All this has to be done before your RPMS drop low, and you look silly
It is somewhat hard to get the hang of, but can look cool, and have some benefits. The guy in the new RSX commercial, where he is zipping through the country side, double clutches. The benefits of it are minor, in my opinion. It is supposed to get the syncros to spin in sync with the gears, so there is less strain on them. (i think thats why it is done) Once in awhile I try to do it, and I know some people who do it like it is normal. Hope that helps
